Im no noob to paintball and i've always played like a broadsword i just really haven't been as active as i would like to have been and i was wondering if you guys could help out. im lookin for a new paintball gun. something with 23+ balls per second within a $100-$250. i currently have a 98c so its pretty obvious that i need to upgrade its an awesome gun it just doesn't fit to well with my style. I play a lot of woodsball so it has to be something durable. any advice?

P.S. are the spyder electra's worth looking at?

For that kind of speed you set the price range a bit low. For that you might try an upped Ion...

i dunno, those smart parts epiphany works pretty good i hear, $290, it'll beat a regular ion anyday, it basically is an ion, just upped more for a good price
that, or some of the mr2's or 3's
a-5 with e-grip, 98c with e-grip+halo hopper
there's a bunch you can do with $400

Nothing against the A-5 but, I'd rather have a Tac one. :P

For $400, the correct answer is 'Used, older-model high-end'. An 05-ish Intimidator, Cyborg, Matrix, Ego, something like that.

No such thing as a "best gun". This isn't doom. Just find a gun you're interested in, read up on it, if you like it, buy it, use it, don't like it, find a new gun. It's not "what's best" its what YOU like and or want.
Word.

I used to use a tippmann 98 custom with cyclone feed. This gun can be purchased in the range you are talking. I have since upgraded to an X7 and I love it. The flatline rocks in combination with the styling. My advise become educated ask at fields test fire a few guns. And then shop on ebay and buy a used one. I have purchased many markers there.
