I want a near full automatic marker...my friend bryan has an angel speed 05 or somesuch I have a sim 4 elite with an led trigger
will the angel outperform it in woodsball? I know it can in tourneyball simply because of weight but in woods I've seen the angel crap out when we play in the rain.
but weather out of the picture what is your opinion of the angel should I ditch the sim-4 and get me an angel?

well I wouldn't play in rain in the first place but if you wanted to play in mod-heavy rain it might be a bad idea but I'm getting an a4 fly rasta and from other angels Ive seen...they rip everything

go for it!!!!!!!!!!

The Angels Kick dumper in both woodsball and tourney ball. Ive got a 04 speed that im modifying for woodsball with a stock and gas of gun but its fine stock. If you have a problem with wet weather use electrical tape to seal of the grip and the section between the trigger frame and body. And if it real bad rain do the same to the barrel porting to keep water out

I used an Angel Speed 05 in the rain and it was fine. They're actually sealed against water. Play it safe and put some electrical tape around the grips, but they're good to go in the rain. And just so you know, a stock Angel doesn't have a full auto setting. Nor do they have Ramping. You'll have to play with the debounce to get more shots than semi-auto, but the trigger is super sensitive and I can rip it at 25 no problems. The Angel would outperform the SIM-4 any day of the week (thats why you shell out $950 for a new speed).

I wouldnt go with an angel, my friend has one and he can't shoot slow w/o chopping, but can rip and not chop (this is in the rain)

Besides, angels are a little overpriced, go with a vision shocker, more reliable and they can shoot just as fast w/more upgrades to suit how you play

cant forget they are EXTREMELY light

I've shot the A4 Fly...OMG FAST! lol

someone was nice enough to lend me an F4 Illustrator once when my Spyder was completely crapped out, at the end of the day he let me take his A4 Fly to the target range...I swear, if I didn't get at least 25 bps then my memory's fading!

I play with my 01 Dark Angel against my father-in-law (who regularly shoots a A-5 w/ 14" CP) and he complaines that it isn't fair playing against me because none of the guns he has compare with my angel in accuracy. But in woods ball, shooting for speed is not everything, I almost never shoot over 8-10 BPS in semi.

although i wouldn't even think about getting a proto matrix over a G7....

it would be a good idea to check out other options, especially when you're going to be spending that much money on a gun. The matrix line is very good, as well as newer ('04 and up) shockers. Same with the ICD freestyle pro, and ANY viking would kick booty.
