im shopping around for some new stuff for my A-5 E-grip, for a barrel im not really sure if want a flatline unless you guys can convince me otherwise, I was thinking more of a C- series 16" but then i hear all this great stuff about J&J, but i cant find J&J barrel systems, ( someone link me? )

another thing i was looking at was the A-5 A-2 kit then maybe a broadsword vest.

so what do you think are the do's and donts of buying barrels and body kits?

The A2 kit is very nice, as I've seen, and I would personally go for it. For a barrel, you can't go wrong with a lapco. www.lapco.us. Great barrels for the money, won't empty your pockets either.

I have a flatline on my marker and I like it very much. If your looking for a vest, get the hammer vest instead of the broadsword vest. Because you get the extra tank pouch on the back, for the same price as the broadsword vest.

Most body kits for me are a no period. It just adds weight to an already heavy marker the only body kit i've bough is the black cell kit and only because I wanted a stock for my Ion and the body is the only way you can mount one that looks right too me other than that for upgrades I'd look into internals like a new power tube and bolt perhaps as far as barrels go I've been thinking about picking up a C&C shorty but then again I've never really worried about accuracy very much just how much paint I can send down range and how fast I can get it there.

if you are look check actionvillage.com they got then there both the cermic and the egde kit. As well you nit look at the apex as well they start at about $65 to $130. The j&j start at $30 to $32 for the cermic and the egde is about $77 the last time i check. Vest broadsword or the broadsword6
personlly i got the broadsword and loving.

go for a flatline barrel. I had an apex on my MR2 before i sold it. The barrel can do some cool stuff. However I never used it in a game just at the rnage. However the flatline works. Added range is well worth the investment.

i recommend polishing your internal bolt housing. With a Brillo pad some hot water and an oil of your choosing i used white lythium grease and the ROF increased greatly and i have a RT. And accuracy somewhat but it could just be me. Only thing about this is Tippmann crappily leaves spots in the housing that arent as smooth as the rest of the gun.

For a broadsword the jj is pleany accurate and you will need the money for alot of paint so don't get the c-series. And the flatline is hands down not worth the money.
