Is a half full 20 oz co2 tank considered excess? :D

That cap in the front under the barrel - Have you taken that apart before the problem started?

Also when was the last time you ran oil through your ASA. Sounds like the valve isn't sitting right.

Never took the front apart and I sometimes forget to oil it, would that fix the problem? or whould I replace the o-rings on my co2 tanks? I have a 10 pack of o ring replacements but I don't even know if theyre for co2. I'm not very experienced with gun internals

O-ring on your tank is irralevant in this case.

See where the steel line goes into the marker. Well there's a valve there.

You should be cocking the marker before putting the air on. - Always.

Put 4-6 drops of marker oil in the ASA and fire with the CO2 on about 12 times.

I would try this first.

K thanks, I'll have to get my tanks refilled first then I'll try that.

triton diagram

However - If you did take the marker apart then I would say the front section is not assembled correct.

should be

Cap > spring > retainer (ninja start thing) > poppet (plunger thingie)

If the retainer is not in the right order or sitting correctly then the poppet won't seal properly giving a leak similiar to this one.

There should be an O-ring in the front cap, take it off and see if it's broken.

There is an o-ring on that front cap. You can take out the cap and replace the o-ring. It tanks a standard tank o-ring. Just make sure all you do is remove the cap. Do not take anything out of there. Also make sure the marker has no air. That front cap holds part of the valve in place.

The o-ring there is on your tank. At least it should be. If not, your tank will not seal properly against the marker and you will have one big CO2 cloud at the back of your marker.
