These are for the Smart Parts ION. I played one game with my ION, I got about 600 shots off of my 60/3000 tank. I was very disapointed in the efficiency. I read that a new bolt and QEV can add about a pod or two to that size tank. When I recieved them, I noticed that the Firebolt is about half the weight of the stock bolt. This means less kick, and less air to move it because it has less mass. So after I installed them and tuned my marker, I went and bought the same paint I had used in the game I had just played. I went out back and practiced snap shooting behind some trees. At the end I had about 250 balls left of a thousand. These two combined really do add about 1-2 pods to a 68/3000 tank. I'd give each of these a 10/10. Very easy installation of both, also adds effiency, speed of marker and consistancy. Plus the Firebolt is red and looks cool. Hope this helps you decide in your decision to upgrade.

ok, thanks, i just bought a SP Epiphany grade QEV....so i pick it up tomorrow, and as for the firebolt, that will probably be next on my list of upgrades. thanks for the info!!

there are better bolts and QEVs just to let you know. the new deadlywind hollowpoint bolt is the lightest bolt ever made weighing at 7.4grams. its also the highest flowing as there is just one big port in the bolt instead of many smaller ports.

The QEV doesn't actually make your marker more efficient. What it does is let your marker (bolt) cycle faster, allowing pressure built up to escape. After installing a QEV, you'll have to decrease your dwell, which then in turn makes your marker use a tiny bit less air. It's the dwell adjustment that helps the efficiency, not the QEV itself.
The firebolt on the other hand, does increase efficiency. A lot.
Rule of thumb:
If you want increased rate of fire, get a QEV.
If you want increased efficiency, get a firebolt.
In some cases (depending on settings) having both can cause one to counteract the other.
Just some food for thought.

ain't the ion pretty good on air , on pbreview it say you can get a 1000 so shot out a 68/45

Actually ION's arent that good on air. Although I complain about it being an airhog, I love the ION.

1000 shots off of a 68/4500 isn't good. Vikings and Cyborgs can get 2000 shots off of a 68/4500 if tuned right.

True, but the Clippard only lets you lower your dwell 4-5 clicks lower than on the 360, which isn't a very large amount. The Clippard (and any other QEV except for the 360) have the downside of installation difficulties. Often, when they are fully screwed in, they will be facing the wrong way. Now you must deal with leaks, o-rings, and teflon tape. It really isn't that hard, but it tends to get annoying after taking the Ion apart a few times.
