I ordered a $70 chrono from Action Village and ordered a case of this to bring my order up to $100 (free shipping). My buddy (C-Dirty) and I split the case at our next woodsball game and really liked the fill and regularity of the paint. After using the Heat and liking it, I decided to up grade to Nightmare (Diablo's second class of paint). When I recieved it, some of the balls were dimpled and I had two broken balls in differant bags (there were no broken balls in the Heat).
When I hosted my the next game at my semi-outlaw field, I ordered eight cases of Heat to supply to the players. There were no breaks in any of the boxes and all the paint looked and performed very well. My hypothesis is that, since Heat is cheaper, AV sells more of it. The cases of Heat that you get are probably fresher than the case of Nightmare that I got, leading to my bad experience. So Nightmare is probably better but Heat is good enough for me. In conclusion, if you are ever looking for cheap mid-grade paint, consider Heat. At $35 a case, it is definately my favorite paint right now. Also, I have never had a confirmed bounce, where the opponent called it or I saw it hit and bounce. Out of ten, I would give it 9/10 for the price and quality that I have experienced.

i love heat too....i mean if i had the $$$ id buy marbs but heat is by far the best and most affordable paint out there.

I agree. Heat is good paint, but not good for blowback markers because of the thin shell, and when I used it I chopped quite a few times, which isn't always the paintball's fault. But a thin shell is good because it very rarely bounces. I also found the fill to be watery, but you can't beat the price. Instead of buying the dirt-cheap monster balls for $30, you could just buy this stuff for 5 bucks more and get a much much better performance.

My bro and I used them in our spyders and had no problems. I don't know what you have, but my cousins had some paint that chopped every other ball in their 98's but worked fine in my spyder. It might just be your gun, or the case of paint you had. I have had no problems using it in my blowbacks.

I am glad Heat has worked out for you all who posted. Our home field last year supplied Heat and we hated it.. The balls were hard as rock and bounced on any and everything. bad seams and they flew all over the place.. but like I said that was the heat our old field used. Maybe they've changed their formula since then I don't know.. I stay away from them now.

Heat is good cheap paint highly recommend for anyone who buy the cheap stuff

The thing about Diablo Heat is.....It's very small paint. It doesn't fit alot of barrels causing it to be inaccurate. If your barrel has a small bore that fits it then it'll work great.

My field uses heat as a mid-grade paint, and it usually shoots really well. Thin shell. Bright fill. Blowbacks chop/break it like crazy though.

My local field has used this paint for about a month now. It sucks. Poor in almost every category but accuracy. It does shoot straight, but it never breaks, and if you happen to get lucky and get it to break on someone, it has an almost clear fill. Terrible paint.

I hope our field owner just got a bad skid. This stuff is awful.
