Like many other people:

Tippmann 98 Custom, will be upgraded to E-grip and Cyclone or Rip-clip feed.

Official Broadsword #104, Tippmann Owner #129, Play with Honor. Current marker :Flatlined Tippmann 98 custom with car stock Future mods: Bolt action Tigershark

I carry roughly a box of paint on the field and an extra 20oz CO2. I like being a mobile armory.
(Yes, some said I should be a Hammer, but Broadsword is more fun.)

Depending on where I am, what I feel like, etc.

Loaded A-5 Stealth w R/T or E-trigger, lots of upgrades to Cyclone, etc.
Invert Mini w a few extras (bolt, board)

I use my Palmer's Houndstooth as well. I can't list how many E-Grips, RT grips, or even electros have been held behind a bunker with it.

You can supress amazingly well with just an occasional shot in someone's direction - especially if they get the feeling that each shot is nearly missing them. It doesn't take constant fire to post up people.

Tippmann A-5 w/ Egrip, Spec Ops Commando Stock, Opsgear UMP Body Kit, MP5 mag, 16inch Sitffi Barrel, bipod, Green Laser Sight, LED Flashlight (all on remote)

A PGP can be used to suppress if you use it right. If you shoot players who are slightly exposed, they won't want to be exposed at all. That is suppression. Any marker can keep someone in, if it's used right.

I think this has been said already but, as long as you use your marker to fill the broadsword slot, it does not matter.
but to answer the post, I use a Tippmann Alpha black tactical. It's a great marker, very accurate (but not the most precise), very good for the broadsword I guess :dry:

when I play broadsword I use the same marker I use when playing sabre or dagger. I use my tippmann 98 custom. It has been said a lot here (because it's true) it is not the gun that makes the position (although it can help). I can flank with my gun just as easily as I can supress. Get a gun that you personally feel very comfortable with and add the mods you think will help you play better the way that you would like to see yourself playing. (oh yeah, and practice too.)

I use a non act 98c with rt and a bt apex barrel. 24 oz co2 with remote.
