while this is a great read, i dont feel it really helps advance the sport as a whole.
im not defending speedball or flaming woodsball, i would just as happily use a phantom as i would use an ego, i play woodsball and speedball and im not partial to either.

sorry but does that have anything to do with this? if you don't like it then don't reply to it

(quote-Iron Eagle) This is why my preferred way of death is strapping a bomb to myself, walking into PETA HQ and detonating it.
(Quote-weltmaker2000) I don't call my guns pumps. I refer to them as euthanizers of the stupid.

this is easily the one thing every woodsballer can agree on, is simply that its never been about the money and hopefully it never is, its just to have fun and enjoy what you do. btw this should be posted at every woodsball event in the usa!

Great sermon man! Yeah if I was watching paintball on tv or the internet, I would watch Speedball. Just because it is symmetrical, like basketball and football, and I find that competitive, but if I had to choose what I would play, then it would be Woodsball. Hands down.

Damn right. For years I have preached the same words, but not as poetic as you. I myself have proven my skills against a speedballer in his and my enviroment. Take them out of their flashy, color filled mess, and by the end of the game, they have brilliant colors of pink and yellow to go onto their black and blue. He lasted a good ten minutes, just because I felt like hunting me some newb. lol, try it, its so pathetic, its funny.

AMEN BROTHER! I'm sorry (not really), but I can't stand speedball or tourney games at all man. I mean it is still paintball, but in my opinion, just lame!

Well written Tyger, but I think a lot of these kids are mistaking it to say, "Woodsball are leet, speedball are suck." I'm niether a woodsballer nor speedballer. I'm something in between, a paintball player like yourself. You seem to direct this at the negative aspect of the tourney crowd, but in the process, some new wood players take it as an anthem to the superiority of woodsball. Really guys, it's all 'ball. Neither is a bad way to spend your time. I'd rather play either and lose every single game than go to my job every weekend.
