My mother arrived this morning because she doing "hair cut for cancer" thing. She dropped of the last of my birthday presents: Battlefield 1942: The Complete Collection and a new headset with mic.
The complete collection contains 1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons of WWII and Vietnam all on a mere 8 CDs.

I'm looking forward to being able to play.

Yeah ive had every battlefield expect 2 for the computer.[don't get battlefield for the ps2 its horrible.] Right now im hooked on 2142.
As far as 1942 its great then only thing is after you play 2142 you start missing the sprint key.also you might want to look into the mods desert combat and pirates are good mods.

I've been playing it for a while. I don't have a super fast graphics card (fx5500) so BF42 or BFVN are close to it's limits. That's one of the reasons I still play it. It's a lot of fun. On the BF servers I'm known as Numlock (USA) if you see me, give me a shout!

I have been playing Battle Field sense it was made, I remember playing for so long, on just the Wake Island Beta map, I remember hundreds of servers, of just wake island... those were the good ol days.
I have played every Bf game made so far, and Bf2 is probably my favorite, 2142's game play is alot smoother, and more well balanced, but I cant help shooting down countless jets with my J10..

I wish they would remake 1942, would be the best BF game ever made, remake it with 2142s graphics and the Ranking system.
I play Bf2 the most, maybe some of us could get together and try out our paintball tactics ingame..

but yeah me= fighter pilot, I have been labled a pilot sense the beta..

I gave like 20$ for it at gamestop. I am addicted to BFV the greatest game ever. My tag is gunhand.
