How would you make your own paintball mines?

well, i cant give any exact plans but as for the basic principals of how to make them its not hard
pressure mines (the ones you step on) are the simpest to make, just have a container with paint and a co2 12g upside down in it with something to puncture it and a place for the paint to shoot out like a tube sticking above ground, someone steps on it they puncture the 12g and then all the paint shoots out on them
a tripwire would be the basic same principal except use a spring to simulate someone stepping on it and a pin or trigger of some sort holding the spring back, someone trips the wire holding the pin or trigger in place, the 12g shoots down and gets punctured then all the paint expells out.
you can hook up a tripwire paintball marker the same way. a few pullys and a wire tied to the trigger, anyone who trips it fires a paintball at them
now for the actual material you use to build the mines is up to you, get creative. pvc pipe works good, or you can get more elaborate, using anything from plywood to molds and some plastic or concrete. its really up to you how to do it but theres the simplified mechanics of mine design

Pressure mines are fun but tripmines are much more effective.

A word of caution: beware of using trip wires. Safety first in paintball right? Tripwires are a.....tripping hazard. Not to be a downer, but a failed tripwire leads to a fallen player and potential injuries. Keep it in mind. (Also many fields apparently don't allow such devices.)

Trip paintball guns are funnier, especially when you put a mask beside the gun, lol. I saw someone storm the mask and yell at it for not getting out after he shot "him" 4-5 times in the mask. Man did he feel dumb, lol. Luckily he had a good sense of humor and thought it was hilarious.
