but what im saying is putting some new bigger tires on while your 31" tires are still good is a waste of money. save the money buy new tires when yours get older.

that would be sweet if you could do it with any car.
two thigns to say today. ones kinda offtopic.
i set a new personal record friday night. i jumped my excursion. 28 and 29 of my feet from foot to toe. measured from where the tread marks stopped to where they started again. anyone else jump thier vechiles?
im really tempted to sell my excursion and buy a jeep. personally i think its a step down vehicle wise. but its a step up on after market parts price. if i do buy one im not sure what kind yet but im sure i want the large engine and a manual tranny. any advice on good jeeps to buy?

not much of a jumper, it messes up the vehicle. I would say a straight 6 is a great motor. And i like the older style jeeps(cheaper and more reliable) There is also less electronics to deal with. New ones are easier to install lift kits(because they use springs now in the front instead of leaf springs) But go with a 4.0 straight 6, i love 'em.

I love my 4.0L I6. It runs great except the a/c compressor is whack (makes many wierd noises) and needs a new none squeaky belt.

most likely a decaying grommet in the firewall. Youll have to check, i have the same problem and the jeepers on jeepforum say that that is the problem.

check the fluid(color, texture) it might be antifreeze, and do you mean the floor or the seat?

Has it been raining? If so it could be the top or the windshield gasket/seal. The older CJ's had a problem with that, you may a similar problem. If not; it's probably your heater core. Can you smell anything "funny" when the blower motor is running?
