My preparation starts a week before. I get all my gear lay it out clean and organize everything. Oil up my gun, throw it in my backpack, and go over everything again(this is throughout the week not all in one day) . The night before I pull out my PB clothes, figure out what the weather may be, just incase I may need more socks, pants, shirts etc. Then gameday comes along and I listen to some rock music, stop in at dunkin donuts grab a bite and then play.

If you have problems with making sure you have everything on gameday why don't you make a list of all your gear and the day before or something pull it all out and check off the list what you have. I mean it all depends on how you are as a person. I know my buddy gets all his things ready a half hour before we leave for the field. Its all preference.

Walk the field while listening to my ipod. Stretch/Warm up. I may snap some but for the most part if its a tourney I have a job to do and ive practiced enough that I dont have to think about it.

If its a rec day, why prepare so much? I'm there to have fun. Barrel game on.

You guys are all hardcore

I don't even unpack my gearbag anymore once I get home, so I can just throw it in the trunk and go. I clean my guns once a month or so.

Yea I'm not when I play rec. I dont even clean the outside of my guns. The outside of one of my hoppers is straight nasty. Its so greasy stickers that arent already on there literally dont stick.

pizza the night before, get my stuff ready. Next day, get up, eat a donut/pizza, go to the field, eat more pizza and soda
It's only a game, you don't need to be afaid of anyone, except for ONE person. Its not the teenager with a marker worth more than your car. Its not the SPPL player with about 35 BPS firing rate. Its the 40 year old guy lying in a corner, taking a nap before the game begins. His camo will probably be old, and he will most likely be toting a pump. He's been playing since before you were born, and if he mentions how much he didn't like when he had to play with oil based paintballs, make SURE he is on your team. This guy is a ghost.-Match99

I dismantle everything, clean it, oil it and put it back together, check my seals and then attach an air tank to check for leaks when my gun is cocked and not cocked, and then a shot. Also helps if I get hit once, then I can really play.

The day before I sit around bored waiting for that glourious day of paintball to come, drink lots of water, pack my bag, unpack it and repack it, then unpack it again and make sure my gear works and pack it up for the last time and fill my pods and cut the grass and do some more chores so I can earn a ride to the field. Eat some food and sleep by 11:00. Then wake up at 8:00 eat a bagel with peanut butter and milk, then pound down 2-6 glass's of water while waiting for my parent to get up and drive me, once my mom/dad/sister is up I take my gearbag check it again, then put in four water bottles and some food, check my wallet that I have enough if not then I head to the ATM to get some money and finally put my vest and gearbag in the trunk and get my gear on.

Once I'm at the field I get my gear ready then sit down and look around, listen to my ipod and read a paintball magazine, just relax till 10:00 comes by and then play till my parents decide they want me home.

Dude, I have my stuff ready like 5 days BEFORE lol
I get soooo exited to paintball, I have a stretching and I get pumped and listen to music,
Then I go into my bed around 5PM the day before to get a good nights sleep. I don't fall asleep until 11:30, then I wake up at 11:31 because I am really exited and I stay awake in my bed until 7:00 when I get out.

THEN I play Paintball!

I like to pack my things 3 days in advance. i clean my marker, wipe down my hopper on the outside and inside, i always put an extremely tiny amount of lubricant inside my feedneck and spray some pam in the breach in case i chop a ball so it wont stick and i might be able to shoot through it. morning before game i run a mile and eat pasta for dinner. when im driving to the field i play through two of my ludacris CD's and one NOS CD. then i listen to my old cassette (yes my car still has a cassette player) of grandmaster flash and the furious five. i drink one bottle of water before the game begins and ussually go through 4 or 5 during the day. always fill pods, polish mask lense, replace batteries on hopper and bring spares the night before too. :usa:

I keep all of my stuff in one of those clear plastic tubs you find at wally world. I clean it all the day after a game and put it in. I keep my marker on top of everything and my mask in a seperate box. On the day of the game I just grab it and go. If you do this NEVER FORGET TO CLEAN YOUR MARKER BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN. Bad things will happen...

I almost forgot, once I leave, I go to Foodlion or wal-mart wearing my paintball clothing. I get many weird looks.

We usually do that to dunkin doughnuts or a cumbys in the morning and hit a wendys after the day or lunch :]
