Not to mention that all of cRAP4's .68 pistols are almost direct copies of either ACP or Tiberius models.

Black Bird? Yup. There's innovation. "Let's take the Tiberius 8 Pistol, sign a contract and have them re-brand it with our name on it."

hm... I think the tippmann pistol is going to be a pretty good hit, and besides. I really cannot imagin it being horrible.
I mean, even though the 98 and the A5 arnt the best quality markers ever, they are still markers that work.

personally i think the best thing that will come out of this is Tippmanns future full sized markers, if they have developed a valve system that fits into a pistol, they can put that in a regular sized marker that won't be a huge heavy blowback.

but i am looking forward to a pb pistol with a standard 45 grip with underside co2. I'll almost certainly be picking one up

I am concerned with the blowback style in winter. My A-5's rock solid in the warm months, but when the winter paintballs come out, I usually run into my own mist cloud of paint. I wonder if the pistol is going to be a seasonal hit and chop in the cold.

Tippmann has to hurry and finish their development of this marker (without sacrificing quality that is :dodgy: )and get it out to the public, I really want one of these. :(

It sounds like there are rumblings of another "economic stimulus" package... Tippmann needs to get this thing in the stores before that happens. With the economy being what it is they need to take advantage of the times people will be willing to spend money... Already missed Christmas... (I really want to see this pistol, c'mon Tippmann) I promise I will buy one if it is out by tax return time... :) :D

Any rumors or semi-solid hints as to a release date?
