Most are rather quiet, just the odd 04 prostocks and Lightnings like Aaron had. :P

Depending on how they're set up and your barrel, they're actually some of the quietest markers out there.

because you don't know how to properly spring a cocker...or sweetspot a reg. :P

Snipers are pump markers Budd Orr invented. It is a modified sheridan design with more ability for customization and tear down simplicity. Then when Budd was introduced to Glenn Palmer, and Glenn showed budd how to adapt Glenn's pneumatic design, budd stole the idea and "created" the auto cocker...an auto cocking pump...as that's all a cocker is...a pneumatically driven pump. Cockers started with slide trigger cause that's what Palmers used. Glen figured out how to do a swing trigger 4 years before budd could figure it out.

and yes...they can be sprung UBER quiet...like normally the back block makes more noise then the firing.

the ONLY issuei ever had with cockers are that if you have it out of time, or improperly tuned ... it takes forever, or an engineering degree to get all the pneumatics and setting set. or if you get a spec of dirt or water in the the spaghetti lines ... omg .... you can chase that forever ... that will take the fun out of having a cocker real fast .. but if you understand it, and enjoy tinkering, then it is a gun you can do a lot with and enjoy ... just my $.02

Depends on what it is. Do you have a picture? $150 can be anything from a steal to a sheer ripoff.

Ugh, so someone paid me for something, and the money order got lost in my mail pile. Yay... guess it gives me an excuse to sort through all of it.

Wassup guys, haven't been here in a while. Back for one day to tell yall that i'm quitting for the time being. In November I tore two out of the three ligaments in my ankle (at a ska concert go figure, that has to be some kind of record) and have been through a few surgeries now. I won't be able to do anything till around next winter and i'm selling, well, everything to help cover the costs. I'm keeping my mask under the intention of getting back in sometime and my sopc jersey, cause i love it and who wants something with someone else's name on the back :P

I was wondering if yall could help me out with an little mini appraisal of sorts before I throw it up, not much but,
