Fixing stuff......today I filled cracks in my foundation with water stop, hung some coat rack pegs, replaced a j-bend on my sink so it doesn't leak, replaced several ugly light switch covers, and added a blank over a metal outlet box. Yesterday I filled a major crack in the foundation in the garage, re-screwed the bannister to the wall, painted a friend's wall on his building, and helped with a concrete pour.

I've been busy being awesome. :dodgy:

Writing poems/lyrics has been something I can get into, especially because I love creative writing and always have.

Music. Playing it hearing it feeling it whatever.

Dogs and cats sleeping with me.

Catching girls throwing me looks.

The woods and nature.

Quote of the night:
Now this is just a hunch I have, but does anyone else get the feeling that Becc has a small MAN PART?

After I posted on PBN for lawls as peacemaker:
Men, and I use the term lightly... no one cares who has the bigger MAN PART except you two, and I advise you care less (at least outwardly) at the risk of both apearing to have small-MAN PART-syndrome. Or at the very least, take it to PM's, for my sanity.

I spent most of my day with my girlfriend. Picked her up at 915, went to church. Home at 11ish. Then until 4:45 in bed. Then she had to be home at 5.

Great Day. Probably the best day of my life today.

Quote of the Day:

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."

~ Sir Charles Napier, referring to the practice of suttee
Alea iacta est ~ The board is set, the pieces are moving.
~ Like the leaves of the forest when Summer is green, That host with their banners at sunset were seen:
Like the leaves of the forest when Autumn hath blown, That host on the morrow lay withered and strown. ~ Destruction of Sennacherib

~ Believe me, dear Sir: there is not in the American states a man who more cordially loves a union with his country than I do. But, by the God that made me, I will cease to exist before I yield to a connection on such terms as the United States Congress proposes; and in this, I think I speak the sentiments of America. ~ Thomas Jefferson (modernized)

I love it when you've been out in the cold, frigid, snowy mountains, carrying a traditional muzzleloader, chasing blacktail deer all day. You get done hunting, climb in the truck, frozen solid and half numb, but happy because you've just had a full day away from the world. No cell phones, no other cars, nothing but you, a few family members, and the wilderness. You crank the heater and settle back into the seat, and almost instantly fall asleep as your Dad drives you home. That is what makes my day. Yeterday and today were the first days my Dad and I have been hunting in almost four years, and I had forgotten how amazing it feels. Tomorrow I go back to school, homework, friends, teachers, all that stuff, and it'll suck. But, I know that come saturday morning, I get to go back out into the wilderness, chasing that amazingly elusive deer and enjoying the silence. That there is my perfect day :(

My job being better than tv.

i love crazy old women. need to not avoid 'disoriented and public nudity' calls less often. after the 10 gallons of eye bleach, i can look back on the conversation gleefully.
M: Do you know where you are?
H: Dave's house.
M: Good. But we want to take you to the hospital anyway.
H: NO! I dont want to go to Dave's house!

M: Ok, well what day is it?
H: What a stupid question. Its obviously Thursday.
M: Actually, its Wednesday
H: No it isn't, you crazy girl!

M: Ok, so ready to get on the stretcher?
H: WAIT!
M: What?
H: I forget.
H: WAIT!
M: What?
H: I forget.
H: WAIT I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!
M: What?
H: You aren't listening to me you're oggling the other little boy (who was actually a 50yo guy and i was looking at him to keep from laughing)
M: *turning to look at her* You have my full attention.
H: Why? Arent you supposed to be getting me on the stretcher?

H: WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE I DONT KNOW THEM
M: *listing everyone once again*, theyve been here since the beggining.
H: Nonsense! of course they havent.
M: Actually, they have.
H: Who are you?
M: Danielle, Ma'am.
H: You are not
M: Actually, yeah I am...
H: You guys say IM confused, but you dont even know who these people are or when they really got here!

...rinse and repeat...

1 Getting laid
2 My girl coming over because she misses "me" thus resulting in number 1
3 Hitting the interstate at 15psi of boost ~300hp with 5FDP- Death Before Dishonor playing in the background
4 Getting my paycheck
5 The office
6 Drifting in a new set of tires - without hitting cones on the AutoX course
7 Cleaning my engine bay
8 Getting bonus for showing up to class(who goes to college anymore lol)

And my overall favorite:
Watching some TV-without commercials, typically SGU- on a Friday night, my girl snuggled up next to me under a warm blanket, with a large, cheese stuffed crust, pepperoni pizza in my lap with a DrPepper and Rum on the side; then falling asleep right after eating all of the pizza.

The TV can be replaced with a meteor shower, and Id still be more than happy - Falling asleep on the roof of my house FTW. Waking up the next morning... not so much lol
