Guerilla tatics are Known as Hit and Run. The Enemy Attacks you takes out some of your Members and fade away in the commotion. Then When you advance again, It happens again. This is Known for demoralizing Members and it's a effective Strategy. It was used in the vietnam war and Currently being used in Iraq.

What you posted is basically what most Scenario/Woods Players do when theyre on a Mission in capturing or blowing up the OpFor's Flag or HQ to win the game.

You got it. Hit and Run tactics work very well. Especially useful when you are outnumbered and being hunted. Mastering these skills can make you a force to be reckoned with.

Of course, much to the detriment of the OPFOR, if against a force that is consistently aware of the situation or one that commands an extreme amount of control in any given battle environment (land, sea, air), the trap works both ways.

In Paintball, people will always experience mixed results when deploying these tactics; especially in scenario games where many of the conditions are outside of they're direct control. Focus on using both Symmetrical and Assymetrical Warfare.

One without the either is ... well, bad.

especially true when you're playing small stalking games (between 1 and 3 people on a team). you have to be sneaky, popping up in a different place every time. using ridges and fallen trees to move can get you far to the flanks of unsuspecting enemies to eliminate them.

Guerrilla warfare is a generally accepted tactic and is a good one if used properly.

Ambushes work best in groups of two or four, depending on what you want accomplished.

Two-man attacks are best to use as hit-and-run where the back of the opposing unit will be attacked, often from a slightly longer range than normal. After a few shots the guerrillas will run for it and reinsert at a different point to ambush again.

Four-man attacks are good for taking out full squads. Two on each side of the path of travel, lighting up the opposing unit when they come parallel to the guerrillas.

also a single ambush is less effective than demoralizing the enemy. Also try hitting theyre commanders or the guys who look like they know what theyre doing or guys that just scare you  . More demoralizing techniques would be to jump up fire one or two shot take someone out and be 50 or so yards away and hidden before they even turn around do this a couple times and they will be the jumpeist players on the field.

if we cant do it. it doesent need to be done

This is my favorite tactic using geurilla/ambush tactics:

I will set up an ambush. I will judge where I believe the OPFOR will go when the ambush is sprung. I will place mines where I think they will go. Once my team opens up, you can count on at least a couple of eliminates and then demoralize them completely with the land miines.

Depending on the size of the force we ambushed, we will either fall back or press the attack.
