I got a small one on the inside of my thumb but i was wondering if i should treat it as a regular burn or is there a better treatment for this injury?

it'll heal itself in about a week. i had one on the back of my ring finger from when co2 spewed out while taking the tank off the marker. don't worry about it.

ok, back on topic

what you got is a form of frostbite
now im not a specialist in frostbite i just know it sucks, a doctor visit might not be that bad of an idea.

to add to 1-I, treat frostbite by putting the frostbitten part in cool water and slowly heating it.

a good way to do it is to take a bath in cool water and slowly turn up the heat

If you've ever had a wart "burned" off by a dermatologist, it's basically the same thing. Localized frostbite. I would say a doctor's visit is overkill. Just let it heal itself and don't pick or pop the blister. If it starts looking worse or starts oozing a lot of, well, ooze, then it may have become infect. Then you should visit a doctor. Infections are nothing to sneeze at. That's worse-case scenario. It will probably heal itself within a week.

i didn't do anything to mine, didn't put it in water or anything and also never got a blister. but i can see where it was. oh well. lol. but going to the dr for this is just like going to the dr because you got a paper cut.
