This is a review for the Empire Magna Drive hopper.

A little info:
First off, I had a halo before this, and I sold that to buy a Magna Drive. I am very happy to have made that choice> The magna drive is loaded with features, has a rip drive stock, feeds faster and the most noticeable thing is the feedneck has been moved forward. It makes a huge difference and when the hopper is on the marker it feels much better than the halo did.

Feedneck info:
Some people have said after looking at the feedneck and how it has been moved forward that they are worried about it being weak. These are people who have seen pictures and never held one. The feedneck is actually very strong. Stronger than my halo's feedneck. It has (obviously) been moved forward, and that makes a world of difference when it is on the marker. It feels great on there, and actually makes the marker feel lighter when shouldering the tank.

BPS:

Supposedly it can feed up to 50 bps. Extremely fast. I probably won't ever need it to feed that fast, but it is nice to brag about :ninja:

Fragile paint? Reballs?
It can feed very fragile paint because of the magnets, you just look in the instruction booklet and it shows different configurations that you can use for different kinds of paint. It feeds reballs excellent. This was a huge problem when I went to an indoor reball field a while ago and everyone was using electronic hoppers, everyone was unjamming their hoppers half of the time, and there was a wide array of hoppers from eggs to reloaders and halos there, they were all jamming. I have some reballs that I have put through this and it didn't jam once, and feeds them like any other paint.

Some cool features:
Every time you close the lid of the magna drive, the hopper primes. You will never be left with the chamber empty with this hopper. RF capabilities are nice. Another cool thing is that you will never be left without paint when you are reloading, this hopper has a "tray" inside that empties into the hopper when you tip the marker up at a certain angle, it allows you to have an extra 20 or so balls in your hopper. There is more, but I may put them up later, until then:

This is the best hopper I have used. I love it and haven't found anything I don't like about it.

Overall I rate it at 5 out of 5 stars. *****

I would post vids, but I have dial up and it would take forever. Pics soon, sorry for the wait, I have to go find my camera out of the disaster zone I call a room.

Mike: I will compare when I get a hold of my cousin and his halo b.

Your review of it is a lot better than mine. I do think it would be a great hopper under the right conditions but I don't think it's the best for all situations. Granted my experience is somewhat limited as I only used it for one day but I'm not a fan of it at all. What turns me away from this hopper is the sound activation. It is RF capable but the RF chip for it looks fragile in the pics I've seen plus not every marker is RF capable, including all mechs and many electros. That's not a big deal if you get the sound activation tuned right, unless you play indoors. There's an underground field here that a friend and I went and played at. Everything gets amplified and echos inside limestone caves. And many times at this field you'll be in a bunker right next to someone. Needless to say this hopper was having trouble feeding my friends A1 Angel in semi auto. We both had trouble with it as we traded off a few times with his A1 and Darq Marq (Darq using a Pulse).
