As I took the plastic off my brand-new SpecOps Sabre Vest, I was stunned. A couple of my friends heard it was heavy, but when I tried it on with 8 pods, loads of equipment, and a 20 ounce CO2 tank, I was stunned. It was very lightweight, and very balanced. The harness that was built in kept it up on my chest, (since I'm a small guy) and since it is one size fits all, I can grow while the vest grows too! This vest holds many things, and a maximum paint load of 1100 rounds of paint, that's more than half than a case of paint! Also, it holds a tank up to 92 ci. in size. It has an internal hydration bladder pouch. If you are looking for a light vest, that still packs a punch, take a look at the Special Ops Sabre Vest.

I just got mine a week ago and although its hasnt been field tested yet I was very pleased with what I saw. This should make a very welcome addition to my collection!

I have the Dagger vest (and Blackcell Operative, too), and found that it isn't really lighter. In fact, it's often HEAVIER than most vests with a similar loadout.

However, the difference is in the distribution of said weight. I can carry six fully loaded pods, 3-liter hydration bladder, two radios, tool kit, Air tank, slung marker and mask...all attached to the vest and have no problems, as if I was walking with only a shirt on. The distribution makes it simply feel like a jacket.

I custom made mine online. The one thing you have to remmember is not be lazy and measure your self instead of thinking you will grow into a large instead of a medium. Medium will fit a tighted large at max. I made this mistake and ended up fixing it by temporarily sewing the straps making it smaller but sabre is an amazing vest.
