They have three empty slots for future positions on the brigade page. Why not make one a referee position. I log all my game days in the player log whether I play or ref. Since I am a field owner, people refer to my profile for dates and stuff. I think this topic is posted somewhere else, but this would be extremely helpfull with tracking games and progress.

Well there's not a spot on the main page, but you can log your day of play in as a ref, I've got a ton of days logged as a ref.

It would be nice to see Ref as a position on the brigade page, and also as an avatar. I think most of my days of play are logged in as a Ref....i realy need to get back into playing again.
(the avatar is to show our uber coolness as refs :ghillie: )

I'm still hoping that Spec Ops will do just that.

Make one of those "?"'s be the Ref position.

Some nice ref made his own avatar, and I of course borrowed it. Not an official, but what the heck.

And of course there are the sig bars. I do think that ref should truely be added to count as something on the brigade page, more than just numbers anyhow so that you could perhaps hunt for refs in your area when you were hosting a game.

My thoughts exactly.

Paintballs.............60$
All day air............10$

Having Refs who care about the reputation and safety of our sport.............

priceless.

I think refs are the unsung heros of the field; they get neither glory nor excitement out of the game!

I modified an avatar, but it would be nice to have an official SpecOps avatar and position patch. How many guys can actually say they drove the Razorback to have the Razorback patch?

No problem at all. It's there for all to share. I actually got the initial image from someone else, then I changed the text and colors. I don't remember who I got it from, but he was the one who modified the kneeling, signalling ref graphic.

Who says refs don't get excitment. Try being at mid field when three DT's cut loose. Or being at the snake at a PSP event and having total control over how the game will play out ( I know there is also a lot of stress at those times too). Refs also can make or break an ambush if they are not there. Reffing is a position that take time to learn and even longer to master. Next time you are out having a great time rember to thank the refs it does make the job a lot better.
Its simple I saw the hit,
Your out!!

I need a job with more vacation time
