I'm hoping my experience with the Engler M4 Mag and mount is a isolated incident, and not something others should expect.

Firstly, there are no instructions... not that it takes a rocket scientist to figure it out, but couldn't hurt to have.
Secondly part of the Mag was bent outward from the drilling done at Spec Ops (or where ever they drill the holes in these things) which caused some scratching of the mag and mount while needing to forcefully push the mag into the mount. (I finally took a screw driver and bent it back myself which helped.) Thirdly, the holes in the mag don't line up with the holes on the mount. These holes aren't off just a little, they required more drilling on my end. This was done before I realized that the screws that are meant to go from one side of the mount, through the magazine, and out the otherside of the mount to securly hold the mag in place with nuts, aren't long enough to actually protrude through the other side of the mount, leaving no threads to attach the nuts to.

Bottom line:

I have a scratched magazine, and scratched up mount, niether of which are finally attached to my marker. I'm still testing ways to ghetto rig the mag/mount onto my gun.

SpecOps doesn't make them. Engler does. and you should've called some sort of customer service. If Engler is making bad products, it should be made known. But first you have to be sure you weren't doing something wrong. Do you have pics?

Contact Eric. He takes his reputation very, very seriously, and having met him, I can tell you that he's a stand-up guy. Google "Engler Paintball", drop him a line.
