1) Special Ops/Atomic Ordinance "F-Bombs"
Probably the best grenade I have used. Everyone of theese I have used went off on impact. The fill is thick, scented & sticky. No pins to pull (the one they attach is just to hang it fom a harness), just unwrap & throw.
Note: Do NOT unwrap untill you are ready to use, as the wrapper is what keeps the thing from going off...
This is also the only drawback to the design, as it can take a few seconds & by that time your target may have moved out of range. This is a large, hefty bomb, & may take some effort to throw.

2) G4 Wet Willie
Not as large as the F-Bomb, this grenade uses a pin as a safety. It also seems to go off when needed, and throws a suprisingly large spray - usually white, no scent. Safe to unwrap at any time, but may detonate by itself once the pin is removed, so toss it fast. Being fairly small, it has excellent range when thrown.

3) Tippman Squadbuster
Not nearly as good as the G4 or the F-bomb. Ive always wondered why a company like Tippman that makes some really nice gear cant seem to come up with a grenade that actually works. Some people I know like them, but in my experience the only seem to go off about half the time. I kid you not - Ive seen guys thowing the same grenade back & forth at each other, without anyone taking a hit. To be fair, on those rare occasions when one does actually work, it does throw alot of paint. This product is best avoided.

for the f-bombs before the game make snips in the wraper with a pair of sizors all around the wraping it makes it easy to unwrap during a game.

I just tear off the plastic. But F-Bombs are 100x better than Squadbusters.

When Squad Busters work (yes they do sometimes work) they are amazing however the best bang for your buck is an Atomic Ordnace BIG BOY tuff, durable, and most of all they work the way they are meant to every time. THE BEST NADES ON PLANET EARTH.

Sigs aren't actually allowed on the Special Ops Forum, so I don't have one.

Questions...-
1) How big is the blast radius of the F bomb?

2) anybody know how they get 16 ounces of paint in there, but keeps the relative small size?

did I die for a second there?...

Hey guys, check this Guide to Paintball Grenades out, It says that you should:
"Look for one with a double-ended structure, so that it sprays paint in multiple directions as it bursts. Tightly packed grenades usually spray better"

F-Bomb sprays about 6-8 ft, but on the bouce they spin in the air, so they actually cover more than that.
As to the 16oz...its thick, dense paint to begin with, and its just SQUEEZED in that tube. If you hold one in your hand & grip gently, it feels like an unripe orange -very solid.

I missed this review. Good write up.

You want to know the deal on the Tippmanns? I know...

It is simple. It's made by Tippmann. So it is going to be the most durable grenade on the market. They want to make sure it wont break. :ghillie:

I use teh Wet Willie and have never had a problem with them. Never got anyone out with it either, but it did work. I just have bad aim.

squad busters work fine if you wiggle the neck a little. i like them cuz i dont have to pay shipping for em. just make sure you shake the grenade and do all the prep.

I would simply like to add that I have refilled a few squadbusters and they have worked beutifully. But they are not ordinary squadbusters, I put a safety pin through one end so the other end causes the grenade to bounce and spin violently. The blast covers a 15 foot radius (30ft diameter). You simply have to do a little prep work at the begining of the day to get them to work like paintslinger99 said.
