Everytime you play you should clean your marker.

Well, I like to clean my gun after every time I play because I just like taking my gun apart, although, I do know that taking apart and putting back together an A-5 kinda sucks (especialy the putting it back together), but I just go by something that my dad told me, "A clean gun is a happy gun", If you keep your gun clean, you wont have a problem, but, its all by personal preference.

I usually just wipe down the outside of the marker after every play, and then clean it well every 3-4 times, unless I have paint breaks, then it's after every game.
