Well I dont know if any of you have ever heard of Jack Johnson, possibly you West Coast folks.

He makes great acoustic music and the ladies love it when you can play it yourself. Kinda like Jason Mraz but better IMO.

But he is definitely my most played artist on iTunes. Followed by the great revolutionary Bob Marley. Then 3OH!3 (so creative I love it).

You should listen to John Mayer. He trumps both Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz by a long shot.

Rock. Shinedown, Nickelback and Disturbed (wouldn't they be more metal, though?) are my favorites.

Disturbed isn't metal, they are alternative.

Why no punk or blues? Your selection makes me sad.

I'm not a big fan of punk. Blues are okay, but they're nowhere near my favorite genres.

My fav all time is Eric Clapton, he's basically done everything from rock to reggae to blues

I can usually find a song I love in any genre but country.

Jack Johnson > John Mayer... like you said, to each his own

@.50 cal - lose the green font, it's giving me a headache :). Also, do you really play Jack's music on your guitar for girls? So you're that guy. The guy on Animal House that gets his guitar smashed by Bluto. Don't be that guy.

Ok, as long as it's just for your girl, that's perfectly fine. And yes, this color is much better. Thanks :D

normally alternative metal (chevelle, earshot, 10 years, nonpoint) for me, but when I'm in the mood rap can be just as good. Also when I'm feeling just chill, reggae really does the trick.

EDIT: How the flying FRAG are there two different people from Estes Park in the same thread?

LOL, my brother plays John Mayer to the same effect. But he's not trying to get any girls... they just find him. :dodgy:

I voted for Rock, but I'll really listen to just about anything. Even country. Yeah, that's right.

I also love worship music (modern stuff and the old stuff now and then) but in that case the focus isn't really on the music itself anyway...

EDIT: Hey, I'm from Colorado too! But I live on the edge of the foothills instead of in the real mountains, so I'm not quite as cool. :dodgy:

Well I listen to just about everything but rap. I like country music but that's my taste. Nothing in my opion though is better (exspecially going into battle) then Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.
