Where do you guys buy your stuff anymore? AV doesn't have half their crap in stock, Kee's website sucks, and none of the companies are willing to sell their own products.

As an example, these have been out of stock for over a year. V-Force's website, which is actually Draxxus's website, won't sell you a thing. What happened?

I don't think you are going to find a one stop shop for all your needs, shop around. It all depends on what you are shopping for.

some places i do window shopping:

Are these the ones you are looking for - http://www.amazon.com/V-Force-Morph-Shield...1917&sr=1-6

I do most of my paintball shopping at my local field. Of course it helps that I get discounts for working there. Anything that they cannot order because of not having an account with a supplier, which is rare, I end up going online to buy.

Thing is, AV used to be that place. And actually, I've got Profilers, the only ones those DON'T fit :P

I tend not to like giving my credit card info and the like to very many places, you know?

discountpaintball.com is another good place, they're within a few blocks of AVI so shipping time will be close to if not the same amount of time.

Coming from a retailer perspective, I think what happened was everyone got so sick of tying up all their money in inventory that didn't move when the economy tanked. So now they are only carrying those things that made them lots of money and dropping those that didn't sell well.

I know that doesn't help you out with your problem but I think it's something we (paintballers) are all going through right now.

That is true BB. My home field quit carrying a lot of products on the shelf when they had to close down their satellite location back in 2007. They had a pro-shop on the main drag in Kalamazoo, MI. It was about 30 miles from the field. Anyone coming from K'zoo to head to the field would pass by the pro-shop.

Now they only carry the essentials. If someone wants something specific they can order it. Unfortunately the same thing that helped with the store closure is what is killing the equipment sales at the field.

I buy from my local store usually. I purchased my Mini from the field I work at and wonder about the deal I got. Anything I don't see there I research online and then talk to them about. They offer price matching but I've never taken them up on it.

I normally shop around to see which site has the best price for comparable items and use reviews to help compare them. Most often though, the stuff i need is at Specops store. I also buy some stuff at my local field because people will sell their 'old' stuff. i put that in quotes because sometimes its half off after a year of service.

I get all my speedball stuff at ANSGear. Pump stuff at PaintballGateway because they have everything you would ever need for autococker pumps. And woodsball at SpecOps.

action village and discount paintball are local to me =)

the.. field that makes me hum the dueling banjos tune.. owns the store that is 1 town north... they dont have parts for my marker, or upgrades for it, they dont stock 12 grams, they dont have any apparel that i like (BT is what they got and its more expensive then spec ops, and spec ops apparel is better overall)

not to mention the main guy that works at the store always has his kids their and they get in the way.. sometimes when im hanging around there bs'n with other players that are there, im usually telling people about what they are looking at cause the guy is helping someone else or tooling around with his kids.

so the local local local store.... strictly air fills and paint by the bag..

come to think about it, companies like Actionvillage.com, tippmannparts.com ect.. need buyers too, i talked to store front guy from action village and he said the economy hit them hard too, they were forced to lay off alot of people, look at special ops.. they made tons and tons of lay offs, and eventually closed, but the all mighty MOATI took it all over..

sometimes people with no store near them are left no choice but to buy online.

I've had really good experiences with Rockstartactical.com lately. Good products, decent prices, and REALLY fast shipping. I had a pretty big order ship out on a Wednesday with 5-10 shipping, it was here on Friday.

Granted depending on where you live it could be different, but they are 3 states away from me.

EDIT: I fail. I was thinking they were in Virginia for some reason, they are based in Pennsylvania, which is next door to me.

BUT! Nonetheless they did a spot on job of shipping out VERY quickly!

Good luck finding those Photochromatics lens in stock. Many of us have been searching for over a year since they were discontinued. I finally found some Grill photochromatic Lens last night listed as in stock, ordered two. Hope they really were in stock. XD Those lens are the best, but no one has any stock of them left
