Well, my birthday is on the 22nd, so I wanted to buy myself a phantom.
First question
What is the difference between this - http://www.doropaintball.com/AB1038101Equi...exd.asp?id=8010
and this - http://www.doropaintball.com/AB1038101Equi...exd.asp?id=8009

Whats the w/45 mean?

Also, is the phantom mini - http://www.doropaintball.com/AB1038101Equi...exd.asp?id=8003
Actually worthwhile? Since I was wanting to get a pistol, and the mini just seems to be so much better, if it actually works right.

Thanks for any help.

The one that says with 45 means 45 grips. They're much more comfortable then the M16 style grips I think thats the only difference.

the difference between the two is that one has an M-16 style grip and the other one has a 45 degree grip. Most paintball markers have the 45 grip and is preferred by most players. If you want the phantom mini, go for it, if its a phantom it will amaze.

The first one has a 45 grip frame. The other has a M16 grip frame. The 45 grip is a whole lot more comfortable.

I've heard from some people that the phantom mini is a whole lot harder to aim with. I've also heard from people that love them though. So it really depends on how you want it to feel/aim.

personally, for pumps, i prefer the m16 grip-i find it's easier to hold with a stock on. But its up to you
It's only a game, you don't need to be afaid of anyone, except for ONE person. Its not the teenager with a marker worth more than your car. Its not the SPPL player with about 35 BPS firing rate. Its the 40 year old guy lying in a corner, taking a nap before the game begins. His camo will probably be old, and he will most likely be toting a pump. He's been playing since before you were born, and if he mentions how much he didn't like when he had to play with oil based paintballs, make SURE he is on your team. This guy is a ghost.-Match99

.....if you have a stock, for people with a tank or don't have anything to brace on their shoulder that hold it at an angle the 45 would probly be more comfy

A true micro pistol phantom is a drop out changer,6" barrel, short pump, 10rnd feed. You can have the vertical air on a micro but it's not as compact, or efficient:

It is much easier to pump with a stock, and you can accurately take advantage of the auto trigger.

Almost any Phantom setup is worthwhile because of the ease of switching to another configuration. I would take that blue wash VSC above, that's really cheap for what you are getting.

Phantoms point really well in my hands, a pistol should be relatively easy, you can get a ghost ring if you want. That helps for me. i made one, look in my sig for it.

Go to wevopaintnball.com for all kinds of accessories.

If you have any questions, just ask.

Check out mine in my signature?? It's not too bad, I just wish it had a longer barrel.
