Amazing. Break beam eye kits, Li-ion batteries that weigh less than half of what the standard packs do...Some sweet stuff. I've been gradually working on my E-mag for a long time now, and this guy is a God send. I already have one of his eye kits, and I want to pick up a battery as well. I'm very close to finishing my E-mag now, and once I do it will be everything I've ever wanted in a marker.

Here's where I am right now:

Work to be done:
-Install break beam eyes
-Fashion eye covers
-Milling on frame, body, valve, and rail
-New Li-Ion battery
-Might ditch the sight rail and mill out the mounting holes, not sure yet
-Grind down rail where jewels used to be
-Anno (still undecided on theme)
-SPD grips, theme will match anno, also undecided on these...

I'm just excited about this. It's neat to see this guy come out with products that truly are revolutionizing the E-mag.
I'm here, Benjie, I'm here, I said, clasping his hand on my arm.
Help me Rootie, my legs won't move.
Aw Benjie, it'll be okay Benj, I'll give you mine

I'm getting a battery. Period. I've been wanting something like this. I've known all along that E-Mags can run off Lithium Ion batteries, but nobody's made one before. Don't throw out your old battery, though, as Lithium Ions have a fairly short effective shelf life of 3 or 4 years.

Edit: or not. I'm not spending that kind of money on my E-Mag anymore. Not when my PneuMag is so obscenely fast.

I DO need to check to see if I can reuse my existing charger. My wall charger for my E-Mag is actually designed to charge up a car battery jumper. It's a rather beefy power pack and should easily have the output needed.

Some real nice work there, thus far, Tex. Hope it works great when you're done, and make sure you keep us updated. I'd love to see how it works and looks when you're done. Makes me want to go pick up a 'Mag... but then I am a gun whore!

Use only a liion charger for a lithium ion pack! We use these packs extensively in model aircraft, and they can ignite or explode if charged improperly. Your current charger will definately do this, as a 2 cell liion pack has 7.4v, and your gonna be charging it at about 14v. Liion packs need to be charged at their voltage rating, by a specially designed charger for those packs, anything other can cause a fire.
When you call me that, smile.

Its always good to see new aftermarket products for mags.
5 or 8 different people now making bodies or other stuff for them.
But having owned a real sweet Tuna-Emag and some really nice AKA Vikings,
I no longer have the desire for an Emag.

I am a die hard AGD enthusiast.
They are THEE best mechanical markers hands down.
Having said that I must say that AKA is to electronic markers what AGD is the mechanical markers. AKA is THEE best electronic marker hands down.
If I ever get the itch to own another electro it will be a Viking.

Yes I still have my mech mags though.
