the two are so close it is hard to tell between the HK 416 and the FN SCAR, maybe designed after a bit of both,

so far i dont think any police forces have been successful with laying charges based on the imitation firearms act...

for anyone familiar with the cspo member MEGAS and his X7 troubles, no charges were laid and his marker was returned...

Him getting his X7 back was huge. Too bad it took like... What was it, 7 months?

(BTW, do you have a CSPO account by any chance?)

I think its fine, its not being banned its just costumes doing theri job.
My tac one came right through.

and personally I think paintball marker should only be seen on a paintball field..
so if its not then a police have every right to protect a potential victim from harm.. Even if the marker is totally usless in the state it is in.
If I saw a guy with an X7 without a hopper, a barrel, a air tank or a BBD attachect to the barrel less marker that had a front bolt removed.

I would still be cautious.

Indeed, this topic has caught my interest, mostly because I was going to make a trip down to EMR Paintball Labour day weekend for their 26 hour scenario, but unfortunately I am unable to because of unforseen personal problems. Anyway, this has piqued my interest, and I wish to know more about what is going on, and to be updated as more information concerning this becomes available.

So far nothing. I've sent a few more inquiry emails to the government but no response.

I'm sorry for the paintballers up north that this could happen. One thing I didn't see anyone hit on was how this could hurt paintball as a whole. A few IGNORAMUSes commented about how they didn't care, due to it not being where they live. Wake up, kiddies. One nation starts banning paintball guns, and it'll catch on like wildfire. Not many things are isolated with the global media we have nowadays. Granted, we don't get much international exposure here in the US, but it's not that way everywhere. If there's anything I can do, Puz, just say the word. Especially proofreading. OCD has its uses, after all. ;)
