I was wondering is there anyway to shorten a barrell. I have a J and J 20'' Barrell, it's way to long. I dont want to go out and buy another one, because i really like this one. I just would like to shorten it some how if possible to about 16''. If there is anyway please tell me

Pipe cutter would work, although I am not sure what you would do about the porting....

I agree about the porting. If you shorten it you will have almost no porting. You could always just use a miter saw, but you'd have to be careful and really sand down the muzzle to be sure there are no imperfections. Sounds like more trouble than its worth, though, IMO. If you're set on it, though, let us know how it goes and if it was worth it.

I don't think the pipe cutter would work very well (though it might) because the anodized aluminum will be so hard. I mean, it could work, but may dull the pipe cutter beyond further use and take FOREVER.

Wait... You like this one to much to buy a new one, but you want to cut it down and change it so you can like it better. That sir, is illogical. Just go out and buy a shorter one.

I would suggest just selling the 20" and buying a new barrel of the same type in the length you want. (I'm guessing it's a Ceramic)
