Smart parts has released a new product that was developed in consultation with members of your very own Adrenaline A-Team.

SP now has an all Americans Tip for their freak system that will fit the APPEX tip. This new tip was the direct result of Smart Cores participation in the SPPL finals in 2007.
Players consulted with smart parts for a few weeks after the event with the result being a Proffesional barrle kit that has the ability to turn on the long ball or drop ball in seconds.

hmm why put the apex on a freak kit? It makes the freak a waist of air imop unless you have the apex all the way off but it would still change the flight of the ball. The idea of the freak is to match the bore to the paint for best acc.

It is so you can have a accurate barrel , but when you need a long(or tricky) shot you just adjust the apex. So basically you can adjust to have both in seconds.

I understand that but I have an apex and a full freak kit even when the adjuster is as low as it can be set on the apex the flap still contacts the ball which will change flight path

i also use an apex barrel, and i find when the apex is "turned off" it really doesn't affect the ball, if it does it's so minimal that you don't notice. I guess we'll just have to try it and find out. It's still very cool to think you can get acuracy and distance without switching barrels. Knowing smartparts i'm sure they have done sone testing to make sure it's worth designing a new product and the cost that goes with it.

And why is a product announcement still in the SPPL section? Sorry, but this has nothing to do with the SPPL. Let's get it moved.

i agree with thirdI this isn't the right section

but on the note of the barrel its a very cool idea. im not one for smart parts(i won't get started) but their freak system is nice and thats cool that they made something to add the apex tip on

They probably will sue apex for some reason claiming they had the idea for the apex barrel first.

No they'll sue lapco because they've already done this with their bigshot barrels.
