What are some good, not too expensive(under $60) or even used regulators for running an autococker pump that you know of? Brands, names, prices, break in time, any thing really.
I'm going to be getting a Psychoballistics Superbolt pump and I've found an Evil Detonator reg/WGP on off/macro line/fitting combo for $50 on ebay. Anyone know anything about the Detonator?
Also any info on on offs would be great.

:P

You can get a Hyper 2 for pretty cheap these days.

great reg. You can get stock WGP regs for like $20-25 and they will run a pump just fine. Outside of that, detonators are great and cheap, just take a while to break in.

I might get a detonator or hyper 2 and put it on my main gun to break it in faster and then put it on the pump.

Any ideas for on offs?

regs:
if you're not OCD about condition, buy used; you'll get a better deal. I just sold a nicely broken-in but slightly scratched up MacDev Gladiator for like $25. I tend to shy away from Dye regs due largely to the horrific aesthetics (subjective, I suppose). Performance-wise, AKA and PPS tend to be tops, but there really aren't that many BAD regs. The Evil Detonator is a damn fine reg as well, if a bit unusual in the adjustment design. I have one on my ICD FS8, and chronoed with three 270's in a row last time out. Granted, I meticulously maintain my gear, and this was with fresh, round paint and a good barrel match, so your results may vary.

ASAs:
I don't know how many different ASAs WGP made, but if you're looking at the 'cage' style (old school Uni-mount), I'd recommend against it; they're a pain. I tend to prefer the CP mini direct mount ASA when not using a rail, but there are many other good options. Just make sure it's a smooth, easy turn knob with a venting on/off.

Uni-mount ASAs are indeed horrible. It's only a manner of time before the pin falls out and is lost forever.

OP ... no matter what on/off you get make sure it's venting.

Thanks for all the tips. :P
I found an empire inline regulator on ebay that I may go for. If anyone knows anything wrong with this reg please inform me. If I can't get that one I may just go for a CP clone, but I don't really like the looks of that compared to the empire. :P

:D Ha! I won the Empire so now I just need to decide what to get for an on off, that, and decide what color to buy the Superbolt in.
