I also don't like guns with an LPR or that are too tall.
I don't care about spool or not, when shooting I tend to hold the gun body, so I want as close to a single tube as possible. I also want the HPR/foregrip almost right under the barrel. I hold it 3 fingers are around the handle as normal, but my index finger is on top of the barrel so the barrel goes through my fingers, and my thumb wraps around the feedneck. It helps me aim better, and I feel I have a better grip on the gun.
I shot an ego, it tore my thumb up. I owned a timmy, the LPR messed it all up, it never felt rights with me.
Pump cockers or snipers seem silly. You still have the tank and the hopper, so you haven't really gained an advantage over semi's by having a small and light gun. I prefer phantoms or carter type.
Dye UL frames feel weird, like I don't have control of the gun.
I tuck the tank into my elbow, so a stubby feels weird because it is too wide.
Anyone else have strong preferences that don't fit with "Standard" paintball logic?
