I have a couple Operative Vests that are now discontinued and want to purchase a hydration bladder for them. Are there any size requirements for the bladder to fit in the back pouch of the vest?

I'm certain they take a 2L bladder, maybe up to a 3L. I'll see if I can find confirmation somewhere.

The actual dimensions of the sleeve is approximately 10" wide by approximately 14" long. Different brands of bladders are different dimensions. Most 2L bladders fit. Many 3L bladders are long and skinny...so they fit, but hang out the top a little.

i got a 3 liter, and it fits just riiight..

but then again, i never really fill it up all the way... im not away from staging that long to need to fill it up all the way.. and 3 liters of water is just added weight.

Are you kidding?! The Operative vest is awesome. I have one that I put AG on and the other in Omnipat and use with my normal gear.
