I'm new to paintball. Played woodsball once at Badlandz and speedball twice at Chicagoland Paintball. Has anyone ever been to URBAN WARFARE-INDOORCQBPAINTBALL ? A buddy of mine said that this place closed down, but on the game locator I saw that there is a game there this Sunday, the 27th. Is the a weekly thing or just a one time thing? I'm not sure if my buddy was misinformed or something.

Are you referring to the CQB thing happening at the old bread factory? I went. To be honest I was a little disappointed. We had this whole factory basically to run around in, but really all the games, were a few speedball fields setup with pallets. Now the basement field was pretty neat since all of the columns in the basement were your bunkers, but it was basically speedball and we did not get to run around the factory really. I can't really fault the organizer since the weather was bad that day and not that many people showed up.

Because of how cold it was too (not heated) and the fact that the floors are brick or concrete it is SUPER slippery in there. It is a good winter paintball fix though and it is pretty cheap so I would say at least go once to see if it is your cup of tea.

Anybody play in ilinois??

any good fields, teams, players looking for team

I live in Rockford and have exhausted the local fields and am looking to try out new ones
also looking for people serious in doing a team
or at least to know where some games are being played by spec ops members

Bill at Wylde Side is planning at least one big scenario games this year. I am also talking to him to set up a couple of scenarios as well. We are talking about opening up ALL 9 fields at the same time so that will give us roughly 170 acres of playing field. keep an eye out on the game locator we will are also talking about a price reduction for SpecOps members.

I played over at the CQB Jeff had set up a few times.
Yeah, it's grimy and slick, but it ain't snowing on us.
There is an issue with the site (unrelated to Jeff) so games are on hold at the moment.
Lately my squad and I have been making the trek out the Grindhouse in Calumet City.
It ain't much, but at lest we get to sling some paint.
