Alright guys and gals this is my review of the Deadly Wind Whisper Barrel.
Setup: Blackcell Q-Bow, q-loader, stock internals, stainless steel freak kit, Deadly Wind Wisper Barrel, BSA Red Dot Sight, remote coil to HPA.
Other Items Used: 16in Stiffi (Ion and 98c) and 14in J&J Ceramic.

Alright what can I say about this barrel.... IT'S FREAKIN' AMAZING!!! Accurate, Light (not as light as a stiffi), it lives up to its name as the whisper barrel, and You can swab it with battle swabs! This barrel was impressive. I bought it to complete my sniper marker for the 2nd annual Best Sniper in Texas contest held at Tactical Paintball in Harwood, and with out a doubt it helped me place third! I was complimented by a fellow sniper who owned a Cocker and he told me that this gun was amazingly quiet!
I also did amazingly well in the target range! Also as long as I own this barrel I will never use my Black Cell Stiffi I ordered with my q-bow kit. I love the stiffi barrel to death but it just doesn't do as well in the accuracy department but they are about as quiet as each other.
Also this is a One Piece Barrel! So you get the Accuracy of a Kit and the Light weight quietness of a Carbon Fiber barrel! No more unscrewing backs off your barrel, you just slide your chosen Freak Insert in the back! there is a tiny bit of wiggle but nothing that would affect accuracy.
Whats sad though is that I had some rain get down my barrel on the stalking challenge and I missed the first two of my three shots. But I consistently hit targets at 30 yards I miss a few at 40, but thats long balling it in my book.
Here's another downside, they only come in autococker and impulse threads. You can buy adapters but it's still a fairly new company so they don't have much selection in threads.

Price: $90.00 It costs about the same as a stiffi, if you already have the freak inserts.

Pros: Accurate like a Barrel Kit, Quiet and light weight just like a carbon fiber barrel should be, You can battle swab it, and did I mention this barrel is quiet?
Cons: Don't get water down the barrel!!!!!, Only comes in Ion/Impulse or Cocker threads, I bought a new stiffi for nothing....

I have the deadly wint and I do prefer it to other carbon fiber barrels (Sly and C Series) I love useing the freak inserts. BTW is is now called the Fibur and they have a null with dosnt' have some of the finish but is cheaper.

After using a stiffi kit and finding out that it was all hype. Didnt shoot worth a dang and wasnt even that quiet. I gave up on CF barrels. Broke down and got one for my phantom. Well a 14" cf phantom barrel was no where near as quiet as my 12" dye aluminium.

Point of that is. I would have to see it and try it in person before I would buy one. The good part is using the swab. But I just dont believe the hype about cf barrels being quiet.

I've been using this barrel on my Ion Blackcell since last year 07 in the spring and still currently using it. If you seriously want a barrel that will last forever, accurate, quite and can match paint with, this is it. Heck I even smacked mine off a tree last year and not even a scratch on the barrel. I have a tippmann for my back up gun (lol the sucker is new, I haven't had to use it yet) and wish they made a deadlywind in those threads also. This is the best barrel I have ever shot or owned.
