I haven't heard anything bad bout them, almost bought one for me, but I bought a splatmaster. But really any gun is a good "dagger gun" as long as you use it right.

I don't know how much you've played but, regardless of what position you seem to play, playing with a pump gun and getting good at it will make you a hundred times better when you eventually pick up a marker that can shoot more paint. There's no better training that I can think of than to play with a pump.

Its a good practice gun but its a terrible tournament / competitive play gun.

the gun doesnt make the player, its the players mind that makes them. and talk to french t0ast about playing pump as dagger cause he's an elite. look at his pictures of his guns, they have the elite patch around it.

Being elite means that you went to elite weekend... it really doesn't mean to much more. I'm not saying the gun makes the player but what I am saying is that you can never reach your potential when handicapped by a pump. Unless of course all players in a game are using a pump.

Thats not true. Not everyone that went to EW got Elite but T0ast third eye and myself did, don't make the assumption that elite was easy. Pumps make you better end of story its not a handicap because i saw how some players rock a pump (thats you t0ast) and you would not want to be on the 8bpm (balls per minute) of t0ast's phantom.

I guess I misunderstood the elite status but I will say that it is based on paying to go to some spec ops sponsored event anyways...Pumps make you play better when you choose to use a semi, but they do not make you play better. I know using a pump will help increase the skills of a player as I train using one myself. However when game day comes around I always use my semi because it does help. When I hear one ball slowly hitting my bunker or know a player is guarding an area in the middle of the open with a pump I will always move because I cannot think of a single time I have ever been hit running by a player with a pump. Since they do handicap your game they make good training tools, not good markers.

Look I'm not going to argue with you I've seen players use pumps as main guns and kick with them. You dont need to rip at 30 bps to make great plays and I bet I could hit you running with a pump and I dont even own one let alone someone who plays with one almost exclusively.

Well, I do own a pump and have played with many people who play with a pump exclusively. They are VERY VERY good players but the honest truth is the handicap of a pump holds them back and lets someone who can shoot more pin them down, and out flank them. Pump players can be good attackers when coupled with a semi but they loose a huge range of abilities that rely on them having a faster shooting marker.
