I have a bushmaster AR-15 - trijicon acog, backup iron sights, hogue grip, collapsing stock, accuwedge, m4 handguards (gonna get a freefloat eventually), and a few other little things done to it.

I also have a Sig P229 in .40 s&w with hogue grips

I used to have a Remington 700 stainless but sold it to get the AR. Wish I still had it.

When I get back I'm going to buy the Sig P229 equinox or DAK. Can't decide. And I have little itchings to buy a Kimber 1911. It's gotta be one or the other due to fundage. I want both so bad, but the sigs are cheaper to shoot and fit my hand better. its going to be my primary carry weapon, which is why i want the DAK or a 1911. I like that the trigger pull is the same every shot.

There have been plenty of firearm threads, but it's always good to see another one.

I don't have pics, but I am a firearms collector on a "when I can afford something" basis. My main emphasis on the collection is military arms (or military style arms when the actual model is select fire), but I'm also known to be interested in Israeli firearms and other handguns such as the Springfield XD.

Some (but not all) items from the collection are: DPMS AR-15 carbine, Uzi model B (circa mid-1980s civilian Uzi carbine, it's pre-'89-ban that called for a US parts count, so it's truly 100% Israeli), MR/IMI Baby Eagle handgun, and a Saiga 12 shotgun.

First is my DPMS AR-15. It has a DPMS lower, I forgot who makes the upper, it has a 14.5" barrel with a YHM Phantom flash suppressor to bring it up to 16". It has YHM backup iron sights and an EOTech 512.

Then we have my Springfield 1911-A1, and my Beretta 92FS. I think I might end up selling the Beretta because I like to shoot my AR too much and need to buy ammo. I am kind of on a fence though because it was my first gun.

*cough* Take up reloading. Really, after initial investment on gear and supplies, the price of ammo falls dramatically for you. I can reload .223 for around $3/box of 20 rounds (that's quality ammunition, not Wolf nonreloadable crap)

I was thinking about getting into reloading. But I have no idea what kind of equipment I would need. It would be nice to make my own cheap high quality .223 rounds though. And it would be nice to pay a little less for .45 practice ammo. I think I might start saving my spent Remington brass just in case.
