Looking a buying an alpha black as a backup as all my 98 parts are interchangeable including the flatline. My question is regarding body milling and mods. I want to remove as much of the metal body as possible including the magazine area and the carrying handle. anyone seen anything like this?

I am not sure I understand why you would want to do this. And I'm pretty sure noone else is going to do this because you're going to buy the gun because it's a cheap M4 look, usually.

Are you trying to turn the ABT into a Basic 98, if so...why bother going through all that, when you can just pick up another 98 for much less than the ABT?

I dont really think that sawing off or whatever you want to do with your ABT is a good idea because it might not turn out as well as you want. I recommend, if you want to buy a new gun, the 98c platinum for the same price and buy yourself a stock afterwards. Keep it simple, trust me.
