The new hopper skins look great, but Spec Ops should also make them for us "hybrid" woodsballers rocking the electropneumatic guns and forcefed loaders.

Chime in here to show your interest in a hopper skin for your loader brand!

First off, I'd like to say you should not feel like you have to justify your marker choice to us. Playing with markers other than Tippys show you have realized there are better markers out there.

Now as for your topic, I really think camo is one of the things people go way overboard with. A hopper skin, however, might help protect the loader. Even still, I don't know if enough hopper owners will be interested enough for SpecOps to start a new product line.

What part of my post reads like I'm justifying my marker choice?? If I were insecure about shooting an electro, I wouldn't advertise it on my tag line. :dodgy:

As far as the poll goes, I had posted in the other Soft Goods forum asking that Spec Ops consider making socks for the Vlocities, and was advised by a mod to put a poll up here. So, if the demand exists, it'll show. If not, oh well. :)

The very fact you "advertise" it in your member title, suggest to me you've been razzed about it before. Whatever, maybe I'm reading too much into things.

What makes me question player interest is, players who choose mid-range/high-end electros and mechs usually aren't the types to go for MARPATing their entire gearkit or finding the perfect camo'd socks.

Nah, nothing like that. I find most players to be pretty open-minded.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from re. tourny-gun-shooting woodsballers and the camo fetish, but I'd use one of these loader-bras. My hopper and air bottle are the largest items on me not camoflaged, and I've been considering doing something about that. I shoot a G3, so the gun itself is comparatively teenie.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother though. With my play style, most of the time I'm not standing still long enough for camo to do me any good. :P

That would take a lot of time and effort on SO's part to manufacture the extreme amount of differences in hoppers, and the payoff wouldn't even be great for them because as I recall, those weren't legal in tournaments due to the padding. You might as well get some neoprene and make some yourself.
Yeah I use an M-16 grip, wanna fight about it?

Best webcomic ever.

 Oh man, the padding issue never even crossed my mind - that's a really good point. Consider my request withdrawn.

You could probably get them to do that as a custom order.
