Sometimes, even non-paintball gloves would do. What matters most is that your hands are protected, right? Anyways, I got mine about a year ago, and am still pretty happy with my Sniper gloves. A friend of mine gave it to me, and of course, am still impressed with the protection and the added padding that it has. Although I use another glove which I bought from a very reliable online store. It has a grip and some extra padding near the fingers. Both works great!

Because of the type of field I play at, I spend quite a bit of time in the woods. I wear gloves to protect my hands from climbing thru bushes & crawling on the ground as much as I do to protect them from paintballs. I have however taken a number of handshots & only felt a few that hit the knuckles just right.

You bought the brand, not my allegiance.

Before that tough I used Hatch hard knuckle gloves. I've used them on 3 combat deployments and they are awesome. Hard leather over the knuckles, made with kevlar so they can take plenty of punishment

Paintball is all personal preference... To each his own.

Hmm yeah I have a pair of those too. I got em for free with my last order from Paintballonline.com. I use them on warmer days. They are pretty decent gloves, not gonna lie. Oh and I love how they have the armor for the back of the hand and knuckles. That's a definite plus.
