Hey guys, I'm new to the whole pump gun thing. I tried a buddies phantom last weekend and i loved it and now want to get one of my own. If anyone has any good deals out there PM me. I want to have the HPA attached to the bottom of the gun if possible.

welcome to the Forums man! Glad you found us & hope you enjoy your time here.

Krazy8 is a moderator here and is also a reseller (not sure of his actual agreement) for Phantom. He can certainly hook you up w/ a new setup but might also have good leads on used. Send him a pm.

Good luck w/ the search & keep us updated on your find!

^ I'm his buddy - lol.

Like I said, PM Krazy8 if you haven't already. Did you want it set up like mine (VSC) or bottom line? EDIT: Apparently RSC can use a small tank too.

Posted Image ^Bottom line (not a stock class feed, though).

Good luck

here is my RSC.
you can run a 3.5 co2 very easily from the back of it without issue.

The CHEAPEST way to run a phantom would be through MSC. or modified stock class, generally people will run a fair sized or small HPA tank from the ASA and then run a line from the ASA right to the valve (how ever you get it there) then have the 10 round tube on top. that way it acts as a stock as well as a practically infinite air source (one HPA fill on a 50/4500) will last you a month. assuming you play once a week. easy.

If you want to run 12ies strictly then I'd suggest using a drop out valve. they have the best efficiency with 12ies.
after that run a RSC
and VSC comes in last place for efficiency with 12ies,

Generally VSC set-ups are very versatile and people can quickly switch them between stock class and Tank set-ups very easily.

in the end its up to you.

Thanks for the welcome Ger. I was just recently told about this site and it seems pretty sweet.

http://www.mcarterbr...phantom-fs.html

http://www.mcarterbr...swing-misc.html --> interesting, stock class feed is offset (meaning you must tilt a bit to side as well, but can see right down barrel).

Yarr, this be also a variant on 'em, with a vertical air (I also have a 12g dropout that I can put on if I'm not feeling a tank), and a hopper setup instead of stock class tubes.

I should post a new pic with the wood grips....hrm

Ohh, i might snag that barrel offa that guy over thar, depends on if it's still there in a day or two.

I was talking to him, he seems interested in Hawaiian style (didn't like my T-Stock).

Like this (but without a stock, obviously)

Posted Image

He's set on HPA (13 ci) over a 3.5 oz, doesn't seem much interested in the 12 grams at this time but I told him I'm pretty sure bucket comes with most anyways (and you may change your mind, I will be using many more 12ies this season, though the 13ci is nice to have).

try out some different frames to see what you prefer. Some like the M-16, some prefer the 45. The last pic CDN posted has the CCM 86* grip on em. I REALLY love my wife's Pachmayr vindicator pistol grip
