I will be attending this event. It look to be a good one. I am excited to
go to a new field and attend this event. Let's make sure we get the word
out to the local teams. It would be a shame to let the prize packages just sit there.

It looks like we will just need one field, But I would really like to pull in another
head ref and ref crew, but we will need 12 plus teams to do that.

You mid-west boys need to rock the house on this one.

Blacklight will be there for sure. We are looking forward to it. We are not looking forward to the humidity.

And it sounds like we'll get to try our hand against some higher ranked teams.
Will we be the only rookie class team there?

Dang! I wish I was rich so I could bring the Suicide Kings to KC! It was a blast playing against BLC in Utah! Have fun guys, and you realize that you'll knock us out of first in the National Rankings, right?

Does anyone with the SPPL have a list of teams playing the event yet?

I am trying to pull a team together with BOB, and none of my guys want to do this if there are not going to be any teams in attendance.

I tried contacting the SPPL through the website to no avail.

Jolly, this sounds like a win-win. Either you show up and only get a few games or you play the same team more than once and get some prizes, Or you show up and take home some prizes.

I can only speak for my team, but we are registered, I talked to a friend in the area who said there have been one or two teams practicing at Drop Zone. As well as a couple of walk-on type teams talking about doing it.

I hope we see you guys out there because if we don't, Ian "Lo" will be pod-monkey for us, and there isn't enough room for his afro in the dead box, plus he is just so bossy and overbearing.

Actually Carbide the Defective Fingerz joined Ghost Recon a couple months ago. I'll be captaining the Ghost Recon rookie team (hopefully, I accidentally registered as Masters and I have no tourney experience).

Where are you finding the list of registered teams Carbide?
edit: nevermind, I found it. http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index...howtopic=148081

Looks like BOB might be out of luck for this one...

I tried and failed to get guys to play. :(

LO-I will call you when I get my phone working...don't ask. Sorry I haven't been communicating much with you guys.

Someone asked about Cruel. They probably won't play SPPL unless it is held at the DDay field. We all just have too much other stuff going on to travel.
