You should find that you have more energy over-all due to the pasta. Bananas contain a sugar that a lot like a carbohydrate than a true sugar(which will lead to a crash). The potassium is essential to muscle movements.
Gatoraid is essentially salt water, salt increases water consumption and is essential in sodium gated ion channels(along with potassium) that keep your neurons firing and you awake and alert. The salt normally sweated out needs to be replaced.
However, you will increase water usage due to your body trying to balance the leftover cloride, an alkaline material so you need to replace that water.
I suggest the following the day before
-Breakfast: boiled eggs, lots of them; wash down with milk
-Lunch: spagetti with chopped beef of some type(still pinkish); wash down with water
-Dinner: spagetti with chopped beef of some type(still pinkish); wash down with water
-Continue drinking water until your pee is clear
Beef is the easiest for us to digest and contains the most vitamins and minerals, pork is easy to digest but contains a lot of fat. chicken might as well be fiber, that is why it is a "diet meat" because you hardly get anything from it.
Don't worry about vegetables, they are pointless and the body gets very little from them in comparison to how much you eat.
The day of:
-breakfast: more eggs
-Lunch:bananas & gatoriad
-during/between games: water
Your body will run on the bananas until it runs out of sugar then will switch over to all the carbs you saved up by eating spagetti. It will repair muscle with the beef and your body will have gathered most of the vitamins and minerals from the meat.
Note: this is NOT a healthy diet to keep up. This is assuming the week prior you have eaten a balanced menu not consisting of pizza and pepsi.
