Men and Women of the Dominion of Canada!

The Commonwealth is expanding, and we are looking for players with energy, drive, determination, and discipline to fill the ranks of the 1st Parachute Infantry Battalion, Royal Winnipeg Rifles and Company C, Canadian Scottish Regiment for 2008. As part of the Commonwealth Expeditionary Force, you will be called upon to lead Commonwealth offensive efforts across the length and breadth of the D-Day battlefield.

From Sword Beach, to Caen, to Colleville, to the Airfield and beyond, the Commonwealth in 2007 raised the Allied flag over their German objectives. We enjoy a winning tradition, and invite you to be a part of it.

The Commonwealth brings together men and women from Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Spain and Bosnia. Our players come from every walk of life, and every conceivable background. We welcome all levels of experience, from the first time player to the seasoned veteran. We are looking for candidates who exhibit personal integrity and sportsmanship, who can think and react independently, who have the discipline and strength of character to effectively represent the Regiment and the Commonwealth, and who can work effectively as a member of a larger team.

As a Canadian infantryman or paratrooper, you will be called upon to accomplish objectives in the face of overwhelming German opposition. You will be required to move quickly and quietly over vast distances, to assault fortified positions, and to coordinate your actions with other Commonwealth and Allied forces.

A message from the King.

“The service to one’s country is something that is profoundly important and the oath of allegiance is not taken lightly. We, as a nation, are strong, because we are free and this freedom serves as a powerful example to people all over the world. During these troubled times, we are constantly reminded of something that every generation knows; the hard truth that there is evil in the world. That sometimes there is a clear difference between right and wrong. The military is central to the continuation of that freedom and provides a means of force to ensure that freedom for the common wealth of it’s people. With that in mind, I have ordered the commissioning of an Expeditionary Force to assist our allies in ridding the world of this evil. May your hardships be few and your victories be swift.” Edward VI, King of England.

The Commonwealth is its own self contained section of the allied forces and has its own Airbourne, Infantry, Special Forces, Armour, Anti-tank and Artillery groups. Our force is tight knit... You ALWAYS know where the Commonwealth is, where we camp, who we are.

If you wish to join any unit in the First Expeditionary Force of the Commonwealth, please send an email to the commander of the unit of your choice.

We will be running convoys from Ottawa and Winnipeg.
