it performs great too ;) im just saying it wasnt as well known. i love how it performs. i mean, kinda hard to break balls when youve got 6 backs to choose from, as well as 5 different-length tips. the only complaint ive heard about em is the weight, which i actually like for me g3 and ion(cocker threaded), because otherwise theyre offbalance

Anyone have the new Tadao board in their Marq?
I have the stock one (not even 3.0 Frenzy), and while I don't play a lot of tournaments, there's a chance I'll be playing some CFOA and PSP Regional stuff this season.
So I need a board that can go to 10bps. I was looking at the Tadao because that's what Bob puts in the Closers at the factory, and if it's good enough for Bob to put in his gun, then I'll bet it works.
I just want to see what experience anyone has with the Virtue (last choice) or Hatred (2nd choice) boards.

As well as any actual numbers on how much the Proficiency Kit increases shots per tank? I get about 8 pods off a 68/4500 with the stock internals (QD pillow bolt).

Basically, I'm trying to make this my LAST gun. I'll be starting college soon, so I can't go spending a few hundred bucks every year on a new gun. I figure I drop $350ish now and have a gun set for life (with the Yakuza board with USB port for updates).
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

They have a very fast recharge rate even under seriously high rates of fire. They stay consistant and require little tiny bits of maintenance. regular paintball gun oil works great in them.
And when they were made they came in three very distinct sizes that allowed the user to choose what was comfortable to them.

ooh okay thanks krazy. i read the manual on them and it says to lube them, all you have to do it pour some oil in your air source and dry fire it a few times and its good to go.

My Protege is quite consistent even with the stock BL reg, but I think I might have to try my Sidewinder on it just to check out the difference. It honestly shoots like my 07 Borg did, and is slightly smaller. If only the reg was spaced farther from the grip... I love the spacing on the Cyborgs.

I'm wondering, though, how one takes the ram sleeve out of the Protege. Is it necessary to unbolt the solenoid manifolds first? The manual is less than friendly, and I'm feeling too lazy to try it. I bought this as my 'grab and go' gun after having... issues... with my e-cocker, so I'd rather not do a complete overhaul at the moment. The trigger is a bit messy, too... lots of side play. Does anyone make a decent trigger for it that eliminates the slop? I loved my PBK Saber when I had the Borg, but I've yet to see a comparable trigger for the Protege.

Quebecan Mad Kid... You've managed to bother me from a pair of posts 8 months prior to my own. First, it's a clear-cut double post. Second, the first of the two is entirely irrelevant.
