A local paintball place by me has banned the use of Monsterballs on its fields. there now is a huge sign outside the field saying "No Monsterballs Allowed on Field". i dont know the exact reasons for this (i havent spoken to the owner) but im not suprised. its probibly a saftey thing because we all know that getting shot with a monster ball is like getting shot with a marble.

have any fields that you guys know of done this too?

I've heard about it, its why I tell my friend to never get monster balls. He didn't listen til he went to a BYOP field and well they're Monsterballs I don't have to explain. They are a safety issue because you get lit up because it takes so many balls til you get a break

-keep it

TechPB did a video recently about Monsterball. Can't link it due to language, but I'm sure you can find it on Youtube.

Good for your field. From what I've seen and read, it's HORRIBLE stuff. Totally unsafe.

I know that four fields on the island of Oahu, Hawaii have banned Monsterballs and will remove you from the field for violating this. I also know that Fox4 in Mass (new home) will do the same.

If the person on the other end of your gun does not walk away eagerly anticipating the next game because of your actions,
you have failed as a paintballer.

Well!!
It's about time somebody woke up and banned the things.
Not only do they stain, but they really suck to get shot with (just like every one elses already said. LoL).

Seriously- I got shot in the mask lense by one of those things, and it hit the lense SO HARD that I thought for sure it had cracked!! :o

At the very least, they stain clothes...More often than not though, they have very thick shells, and are very heavy, compared to other paint. So they hurt more too :o

well i want a heavier, thick paint fill, somewhat brittle, (Marbilizer/swirl shell is EXCELLENT for me) and over .685 to use in any of the pumps i may get eventually, instead of the super small, lightweight, super brittle (breaks in barrel too often) paintballs....

ive been hit by monsterballs..no fun. ive also tried to get them to break on a TREE!!! but it broke the bark off instead! :o

Wow...alright go to youtube, type "techpb" in the search box. go to Mike's channel, and wtach like the 3rd newest one labeled "ban monsterball"(or something like that). if you beliveing in silly things like "cursing", just mute the volume and just WATCH what happens. its pretty sad.

and just about every field here does that.

One of the fields I used to go to used monsterball as their field paint.

Of 5 shots fired point blank into a wooden board, only one broke.

Monsterballs should be marketed to swat as a cheaper, more widely available option for rubber bullets.
