Hey champs,

I'm looking to buy a new carrying case for my markers. I need something that locks, foam lined and is made of a sturdy material (Metal) but am having a problem finding any stores locally with something useful. I hit up Canadian Tire but all they had was some really cheap plastic pistol cases that I could probably snap by sneezing too hard in the same room.

So here's the question I pose to you all... what kind of gun case is the best and where can you pick it up? Should I screw all the big-box shops and find a local hunting shop?

I've been considering getting a Bow case for my marker.....

Staples has metal brief cases on occasion.

I use soft laptop bags for my markers. They got storage pockets. You can find hardshell laptop carriers. Or a briefcase like puz said and add foam.

depending on the size of your marker, a pelican case my work, they are rather expensive though. A bow case would work well they are designed to protect similarly expensive and they work quite well. Imagine strapping one to a quad and then going out on a trail eventually rolling said quad and breaking a coleman cooler a lantern, and almost a leg or two.. the bow was fine, that was my point.. might just do a google search for gun cases see what pops up.

I would just hit up all of your local hunting stores. All of them should carry hard gun cases that will have a lock on them. I have a 2 different guns and a gun case works perfectly to protect it and lock it up. Most of them also have those soft eggshell padding in them that work great.

Why not get a sturdy gun bag with double zippers and just put one of those small locks through. In Canada you won't find much at your local Canadian Tire or even Wal-Mart (though it doesn't hurt to look) but hit up a hunting store, I'm sure they will have something that will work for you.

I use a soft padded gun bag for my A5 w/ stock and it works great. I have a paint job on it and it's helped it last for years.

Well there's definitely very little in my community but found this online which I'm considering. Its about the right size for my mini+phantom.

I use a stanley rolling tool box. I will be buying a bunch of foam soon to line the inside, and make slots for all of my markers. Then I'll be getting a second one for gear. Not sure how many you have, but it's just an idea that I'm throwing out there.

Well I have 3 but only roll out to games with 2. The Tippmann C3 is going to be shelved I think beyond this point. The efficiency and reliability of my Phantom and Mini just outweigh the little problems with C3's electronics.
