This is about care of paintball guns, i dont know if this is the right forum but whatever. Now i have had my gun, a Tippmann 98 Custom more almost a year now and havent taken apart my gun. Most of my friends say that you need to every once in a while to clean the insides or else the gun will break. Is this true?

You should take apart and clean you gun after every time you play. And ive seen countless people who dont clean their tippys because they think that their gun is invinsible. Well, its not! *no pun intended to users who actually clean and take good care of your gun*

Just dont come crying here if your gun breaks down and you dont know what to do if you decide not to clean it. :) ;) Plus theres nothing better than hearing the internals of your gun moving nice and SMOOOOOOTH if you know what i mean.

not nessessarily. i've had my tippy for about 3 years and i've only cleaned it once wich was just recently. tho eventually the insides will get worn out, but not that fast unless you play in an area where dust/dirt is a major factor in the game. even still you should try to clean you gun at least once every six months. i don't do it tho cuz im lazy
