sometimes we use the old haldheld 40 channel cb radios. they are a little big but so what. no one else is usually on them. If you are a tanker you can pick a mobile one up for your tank pretty cheap too.

Secure Radios: I use radios with my team. I also have a few guys on my team that speak another languge. I also check out the other team and see what I can learn. If I no the other team can't speak any other languages than english, I would assing a guy on each of my fire teams the job of inter squad comunications. Example, I have an 8 man team and I divide it into two 4 man fire teams, I'll put a spanish speaker in each team and let them talk between the two fire team so if the other team is listning in, they won't be able to know what were talking about.

Patrol Tactics: If your game is a team elimination (Search and Destroy) Always have one guy foward of the rest of the team to kinda probe ahead in the event the OPFOR is waiting for you. Always keep in radio contact with your point man in the event your point man is out of your line of sight or you can't see them.

Any other ideas for this?

Sometimes we do the same thing. Trick is, the OpFor generally has someone who can speak Spanish...

...So we mix it up between Czech and Japanese. They don't like that.

my friend and i are going to order a pair of CB Australian band (477.400Mhz) radio. you select the power output from 1w to 5w. they are $69.00 come with a charging stand, battery, belt clip... these are also going to double for radios when we do security.
