A teammate put this up on our team forums. We were rather sad we didn't make it, until we noticed that this was just for the Super Mil-Sim teams.
While part of me thinks this is hilarious, the other part says "Well, this is bad for public perception."

Check out Number 3. It's Bad Karma, complete with Spec Ops Elite logo in the bottom left corner.
But really, is that Hampton Roads Church group really that disturbing? I did a little searching, and that single picture from the church group is from a 2008 outing.

Anyone else feel the urge to write some angry letters, or maybe some hardcore DDoSing

uh. clearly. they didnt do their homework :D
i mean really.......... OK-DDAY..........Dirty Dozen........ not to mention how many teams out there have military sounding names such as Delta? honestly i couldnt help but laugh, the article's author seems dead-set into the whole anti-wargaming/anti gun/ side and demonizing the milsim/reenacting guys.......I give props to the Japanese/Yugoslav civil war group for being obscure and creative....and i dont think some of the "names" are really team names, more of the game names? i mean, “America vs Iraq paintball team in Jordan” why is it disturbing? it sounds, and looks more like "America Versus Iraq Paintball (game), team in Jordan (where game was, and doesnt say which team this is, is it Iraqi pb team, is it American pb team, is it a Jordanian pb team playing on both sides????)
Team Black Sheep, Oregon Division

Yeah I laughed at that. Especially the one team that is a church group. I bet I could roll over all of them myself.

hahaha exactly. the funny thing is the author doesnt seem to know squat about sourcing information. last i heard paintball in germany is illegal. and i believe that was from a german citizen visiting the US a couple years ago.

Well nevermind then. I remember seeing something about it being illegal, I guess I never really followed it after that one time. My bad.

And here I was thinking Germans were intelligent. There is a hard defined like between spawning in a video game as a Force Recon Marine with an M4...and grabbing a gun, loading it, and walking into a school. You have to be completely deranged to do such a horrendous act. Video games and Paintball you do not.

Anyway, the point is the sheer ignorance of the author is ruining the image of our sport to any uninformed individual reading it.

It was a knee jerk reaction to an event, it happens. Police investigate every possible source of the violent nature, regardless of others doing the same thing without any problems.
